Every stag horn handle knife is crafted from raw sheets of carbon steel and naturally shed North American deer, elk or moose antler. The company sorts through thousand of pounds of shed horns annually and is very selective on the antler to used to manufacture a SILVER STAG KNIFE. The antler is selected based on the stag horns various characteristics. The antler goes through various stages of prep work prior to being affixed to the blade using 3/4 and full tang construction. Each knife is so strong you can literally take a hammer to one end of the 3/4 tang constructed knives, and it would be very difficult (if not impossible), to separate the antler handle from the blade.
